The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools (CHHCS) is a nonpartisan,
policy and program GWU grant funded resource center. The Center explores
ways to strengthen the well-being of children and youth through effective
school-based health programs and health care services in schools. Find out

We are seeking a talented person to serve as executive assistant to 3 senior
staff in the Center for Health & Health Care in Schools.
Requirements include:
- Ability to multi-task and communicate professionally
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff in the
Center, the Department and the School of Public Health & Health Services.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent calendar management skills, including coordination of multiple
calendars
- Strong computer and Internet skills
- Proficient in English grammar, spelling
Key responsibilities:
- Manage senior staff calendar and meetings; manage email on request
- Arrange travel and file travel reimbursement requests
- Assist senior staff with special projects such as organizing small
meetings,
- Following up on requests for information
- Maintain and process confidential information with discretion and
efficiency.
MPH candidate preferred. Compensation: $11 - $12 per hour, 15 hours per week
(office hours- 9am to 5pm). Attention to detail is essential. Interested
candidates must have previous office experience and be familiar with
Microsoft Office. Experience with Mac environments is a plus.
