2009 ADEA/Crest Oral-B Scholarship for Dental Hygiene Students Pursuing Academic Careers

The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) and The Procter & Gamble Company announce the
ADEA/Crest Oral-B Scholarship for Dental Hygiene Students Pursuing Academic Careers. This scholarship
supports dental hygiene students who are pursuing education beyond an associate's degree and who have an
interest in an academic career.
Overview
Each scholarship recipient receives $2,000 to be applied to tuition and fees. Each year two dental hygiene
students receive the ADEA/Crest Oral-B student scholarship.
Application Deadline
All applications must be received on or before December 8, 2008. Electronic submissions are not accepted.
Receipt of entries cannot be acknowledged.

Eligibility
An applicant must:
•
have graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program with an associate's degree or certificate to
practice dental hygiene
•
be enrolled in a baccalaureate degree completion program or graduate degree program at an ADEA
Member Institution
•
show a commitment to pursuing an academic career in dental hygiene
•
be an ADEA Individual Member
Both part-time and full-time students are eligible. Priority will be given to qualified candidates enrolled in
baccalaureate degree completion programs.
